"Preserving Liquid Assets" Lecture and Wine Tasting Sponsored by Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP April 1, 2010 EAPD, 750 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY The ReUnder40s group hosted an engaging lecture with Katja Zigerlig, AVP, Fine Art, Wine & Jewelry Insurance of Chartis Private Client Group. Katja discussed the key components of investment wine's value - the grapes, key regions and marketplace for investment grade wines. She also addressed the unique perils affecting the value and condition of wine and the cornerstones of preserving wine assets through inventory management, appropriate storage and a risk management plan. The lecture was followed by a Wine Tasting of Spanish Red Wines. Wine expert Justin Berlin, President of Blue Decanter Wine Sales and Marketing introduced us to the Tempranillo wines served at the tasting. |
